Bainbridge Swing Dance continues to have live music the first Saturday of every month at the Family Life Center. Starting an hour earlier in June. Doors open at 6:30pm. A beginner-friendly East Coast Swing lesson is at 7pm. Followed by live music and Swing Dancing from 8-10pm. The night continues with an extra hour of Electro Swing, 10-11pm.  

Electro Swing, aka “swing house, is an electronic dance music genre that combines the influence of vintage or modern swing and jazz mixed with house and hip hop... A modern and dance-floor focused sound that is more readily accessible to the modern ear (Wikipedia).” Our version of Electro Swing will have more intense lighting, including black lights, strobes and lasers.  Featuring a curated playlist of recorded Electro Swing music.

No partner or prior experience is needed for this family-friendly event.
