Join us at the Senior Center for the 2nd annual Black History Ball!
In celebration of Black History Month, ICSC’s Original Mature Groovers invite you to an event that won’t be easily forgotten! The night will showcase the cultural and artistic expression of African Americans in the 1920’s and 1930’s.
This elegant event will include:
Keynote performance by Caleb "The Negro Artist" Rainey
Live jazz music by the Curtis Taylor Quartet
Fashion show featuring original designs inspired by the attire of the era with a modern twist (designs by J.A.H.N. Classics, Jean-Ivonne with i2i Designs, Dana Egan, and Breyana Cooper)
Reading by Dr. Venise Berry
Art by local African American artists
Food representing traditional African American dishes
Silent auction of art, artifacts, and music
