The Return of the Corn Mothers: Inspiring Women of the Southwest exhibit features powerful portraits and narratives celebrating the strength, resilience, and cultural contributions of women from diverse Indigenous and Latina backgrounds. Through photography by Todd Pierson and storytelling, this exhibit highlights the living legacy of the Corn Mother, a sacred symbol of life and sustenance in many Indigenous cultures.
Reception: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Join us for a special evening celebrating the exhibit, Return of the Corn Mothers: Inspiring Women of the Southwest on May 1 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the PACE Center Gallery. The evening will include a short lecture by photographer Todd Pierson at 7:00 p.m. that honors the stories and spirit of the Corn Mothers. Attendees can also enjoy live music by Rick Vaught and light refreshments. The bar will also be open for drink purchases. We kindly ask that you RSVP.
