Join us for a Mardi Gras Valentine's Day celebration featuring a New Orleans style jazz performance paired with a Creole menu that is sure to infuse plenty of heat and romance into your evening. New Orleans jazz is known for its swinging rhythm and draws from a range of sources such as blues, marches, ragtime, and gospel. Jazz is embedded in the musical soul of New Orleans, and New Orleans-style jazz is unmistakable, with its rhythmic additions of blues, marches, ragtime, and gospel accents.

DJB's Jazz Curator and Pianist John Rangel had the magic of Mardi Gras in mind when he lined up a stellar group of jazz masters for this musical extravaganza.

The renowned chefs at the Santa Fe School of Cooking will develop an unforgettable Creole menu designed to complement the spicy jazz performance. New Orleans cuisine marries Spanish and French influences, brought over from European settlers – with inspiration from African and Caribbean cuisines.
