Join Help of Beaufort for our annual FIRECRACKER 5K Race on the morning of July 4th in Downtown Beaufort.  Starting at 8am on Friday, July 4, 2025, on Bay & Newcastle Streets.  Run through historic downtown Beaufort and across the famous Woods bridge following a certified 5K course. 

Course:  Start/finish line at Freedom Mall down Bay Street cross Woods Memorial Bridge to Lady's Island down Meridian Rd to Youmans Drive and double back the same route to Freedom Mall. 

Age categories:  under 12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Prizes awarded to overall top three male and female and top two male and female in age divisions.   Awards are for in-person participants only and awards will begin PROMPTLY at 8:45am.  

Event is pet and stroller friendly.  Flexi-type leashes will not be allowed at the event.  Please have pets on a standard 4-6ft lead.
