Dr. Shih received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, and medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his residency, chief residency, and nephrology fellowship at the hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Shih is board certified in both internal medicine and nephrology. He is also a clinical specialist in hypertension. He currently serves as chief of nephrology and hypertension at Danbury Hospital, and as medical director of the DaVita dialysis unit in Danbury. He is dedicated to treating all aspects of nephrology/hypertension, in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
