I chose orthopedics because I love the process of seeing a problem through from beginning to end. I enjoy the challenge of identifying the source of someone's pain, appreciate the trust that patients' place in me to walk with them on their journey to recovery, and I love being able to celebrate with them when they have healed! I also enjoy making the patient feel involved in the decision making process. Whether it is explaining their x-rays to them or taking the time to discuss all of their options, I want each patient to leave with a sense of comfort and confidence in our plan.
