Denise Poulter joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in June 2011. Prior to joining First Command, she owned several small businesses, including a tax business and direct sales company. She also served for several years as a piano and flute instructor in her community.
A graduate of Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Financial Planning and Counseling, Denise holds Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses.
Understanding that the single most powerful contributor to financial well-being is behavior, Denise works closely with her clients to develop personalized financial plans that reflect their values, address their priorities and support their goals. Each plan includes recommendations for specific financial products and services to support those goals. And through ongoing planning to address changes in one's financial and personal circumstances, Denise is ready to assist clients as they pursue their goals through a lifetime financial journey. Having raised a large family, Denise understands the challenges of balancing the many needs and demands of family, work, church and community. She is passionate about helping families develop a process to attack their financial future with confidence.
An avid volunteer, Denise is a volleyball and basketball coach for local youth sports organizations, a member of multiple networking groups, and is involved in various church, school and community activities. Denise enjoys working out at the gym, running, playing sports, coaching, camping, traveling, playing the flute and piano, and spending time with her husband, seven children, family and friends.
