Arielle M. Abrams, AuD, CCC-A is a certified clinical instructor of Audiology. Dr. Abrams received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Hearing and Speech Sciences from University of Maryland in College Park, and received her Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While receiving her doctorate Dr. Abrams was selected to receive interdisciplinary leadership training through the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program at the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities. She completed her clinical externship year with UNC Hospitals Pediatric Audiology from 2019-2020 and joined the department of Otolaryngology at MUSC in the fall of 2020. Dr. Abrams is passionate about serving children and families of children with hearing loss and other developmental disabilities. Her clinical interests and expertise include diagnosis of hearing loss (auditory brainstem response testing, behavioral audiologic testing) and management of hearing loss (hearing aids, bone conduction hearing aids, osseointegrated devices). Dr. Abrams is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and a member of the South Carolina Academy of Audiology (SCAA).
