Join us, as we walk together for stronger, healthier babies. March for Babies® is the March of Dimes largest fundraiser. Each year nearly 4,000,000 babies are born in the United States and March of Dimes touches each one of them. March of Dimes works to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death in the United States.  Babies who survive an early birth may have lifelong health problems such as cerebral palsy, vision and hearing loss, and learning disabilities. In California, one in eleven babies are born too soon.

One day, all babies will be born healthy – but until then we need to walk to raise funds for research, advocacy, community programs, and education. This year more than 20,000 companies and 7 million people will participate this year in March for Babies in about 900 communities nationwide.
