Championship Golf Course - Moon Valley Country Club offers great golfing conditions and a rich history of Arizona golfing tradition. The par 72, 18 hole Championship Course originally designed by Dick Wilson and later redesigned by Bob Cupp and Associates, is challenging for all levels of players and plays from 5,278 yards to 7210 yards in length. In addition the Club offers fantastic practice facilities complete with an 18 hole, par 3 course (the MoonWalk). Moon Valley Country Club has hosted many championship events, the most prominent being the LPGA Standard Register Ping Tournament, which was played at Moon Valley from 1987 through 2003. Moon Valley golf course is open daily except Christmas.
Golf Operations - Golf Operations offer a fully stocked golf shop, locker rooms, shoe cleaning, and golf bag storage. Our PGA Professional staff offers private lessons and clinics for juniors and ladies. The Golf Shop is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and features the latest in clothing, shoes, and equipment for the serious golfer.
The Tennis Center - The Tennis Center has 8 hard courts, all lighted for night play. Moon Valley fields teams in the Arizona Tennis Association and PlayTennis as well as Women's interclub. We offer a variety of men and women's singles leagues, interclub, and intraclub competitions. Clinics, private lessons, team drills, ball machine, and video lessons are available from the U.S.P.T.A. certified staff. Regularly scheduled social tennis events allow members to get together and play tennis in a fun, casual, non-competitive atmosphere. For junior players we offer a Junior Development program of clinics, instruction, and competitions. The Club also conducts holiday and summer tennis camps and has a full service tennis shop offering tennis equipment and apparel, as well as racquet stringing and repair.
The Fitness Center - Our Fitness Center is a complete exercise facility that offers members a variety of options including racquetball courts, a group fitness studio, a variety of fitness classes, spinning room, and game room downstairs. The main floor includes a steam room, Jacuzzi, massage room, men's and women's locker rooms, a swimming pool, and snack shop. Upstairs is a beautiful gymnasium used for basketball and volleyball. The Fitness Center offers a popular summer camp for the enjoyment of our younger members and a wide variety of programs to help all members maintain a healthy lifestyle. Certified Fitness Staff offers professional, dedicated and caring instruction to help you achieve your fitness goals.
The Aquatics - Moon Valley Country Club has an impressive year-round pool, that offers a host of aquatic programs. Country Club Legue is a recreational swim team that competes with other country clubs in the Phoenix area. Age groups range from 4 - 16 years old. Moon Valley Aquatic Club, is a competitive year round swim club, and is available to non-members as well as members. Infant Swim Research is a program that teaches infants and toddlers how to float, which is a great life-saving technique. Also available: Water Aerobics offered April through October, Pool Parties, Swimming Lessons, and Friday Happy Hours. The Aquatic Center is a great place to meet with friends and enjoy swimming.
