Mission:
Our goal is to make West Haven the premiere stage in the region for artists and arts programming. We are working with the City of West Haven and the West Haven Center for the Arts to convert the former Masonic Temple at 304 Center Street into grand location that will provide a forum for local, regional, and national artists to display their talents. Our work with other organizations helps us serve West Haven and build a stronger community. Contact us for information about joining our dynamic group and how you can help build the arts community in West Haven.
About Us:
The West Haven Council On The Arts is a coalition of citizens dedicated to strengthening and promoting art, cultural events, and tourism in our community. We seek to enrich the cultural experience, build future audiences, and provide meaningful, empowering, creative, and educational opportunities for learners of all ages and backgrounds. We often reach out to other organizations in the community to participate in events and activities that nurture an appreciation of artistic endeavors in all media. WHCA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all donations and membership fees are tax deductible.
