Members will purchase shares of $150, $200,$250 or $300 in the spring which they'll use as cash throughout the market season. Members will select fruit and produce at either the New London Farmers Market or the Waterford Farmers Market during regular market hours and their total will be subtracted from their share balance. This plan will allow members to choose as little or as much as they want each week and receive a 10% discount off their weekly selections. If initial shares are depleted, additional shares may be purchased during the market season. Share balances remaining at the end of the season will be donated in produce to local food kitchens.

Valchris Farm was established in 2006 by Don & Nancy Hess. Named for Don's parents, Valerie & Christopher Hess, the farm is located on 15 acres in Southeastern CT. with one acre in production. We have been certified organic by Baystate Organic Certifiers since the first growing season and have been using nutrient density practices since spring 2010. We are dedicated to growing and providing nutritious and locally sustainable fruits and vegetables.
