USI Glenwood Community Health Center

901 Sweetser Avenue
812-435-0977

“The USI College of Nursing and Health Professions is pleased to establish the first school-based health clinic in Evansville, and to provide primary care services to Glenwood community area residents,” said Nadine Coudret, dean of the College.

Services will include help with acute health problems, chronic disease management, physical examinations, immunizations, well child care, women’s health, men’s health and behavioral health services. The health center is open to students, faculty, and staff of Glenwood Leadership Academy, the Glenwood neighborhood and the community.

The Community Health Center is the result of a desire and planning for the past several years by the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation to find a way to work with a community organization to meet the health needs of families in schools; and a five-year $1.2 million grant to the University of Southern Indiana from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
