Welcome to the Statesboro Youth Chorale at the Averitt Center for the Arts! 

The Statesboro Youth Chorale (SYC) is a music performance and education program for children and teenagers.  We emphasize the development of musical skills and musical understanding, and singing is the primary focus of the musical experience--a powerfully personal means of musical expression.  We hope this experience will form the foundation for a life-long relationship with music for the singers and their families. The mission of the Statesboro Youth Chorale is to provide quality music education and music performance education with the goal of attaining the highest level of artistic excellence in choral music.
