About Us 

Children are an important part of our community.  Our church school is for those 3 years old through the 8th grade.  Young people participate in worship with pageants, choir, and service.  There is a children's sermon at the beginning of the 10:00 a.m. service.

Beyond that we welcome and reach out to all people.   Lay ministers take the Eucharist to those unable to join us for weekly worship Once a month members take dinner to an AIDS residence in Hartford. In September we help provide pencil boxes for school children in Hartford. At Thanksgiving and Christmas we remember local families with gifts and meals. The parish supports the Relay for Life to benefit cancer research. At St. John's, we offer a wide variety of ways to serve and be in community--a menu of spiritual options.
