About Us:

We are a group of SKSC volunteers committed to a training program, that provides basic skill training to our players and coaches of teams ages U5 to U8.

We want to provide the children of the South Kitsap Community, a way to have access to the same excellent opportunities as the children in larger communities.

We have recruited highly qualified Head coaches to run our program. These coaches are Liscensed and experienced. And they are willing to donate their time to our coaches and players.

Our mission is for all U5-U8 players and coaches to have access to a SKSC Academy Trainer once a week.

We are planning on uniting our club with group practices. By teaching the same basic skills to all our players, they all have the same opportunity to succeed. We want to eliminate, the one to two teams that "kill" everyone else in their age group, because they have an experienced coach. We want more equal competition.

You're the new coach. Now what? We understand what it is like to suddenly be told, "you coach or your kid does not play". Most of us started our soccer careers when our kids did. And we know what it feels like to be totally lost and not know where to turn to for help.

Another goals is to help the parent/coach learn the basic skills of coaching. This is accomplished as a result of using quality curriculum and knowledgeable coaches and older players to demonstrate and instruct the material. This year, we will have South Kitsap High School players available for demonstration and instruction.
