About Us

The Story:

Sabrina Hirsch built SMH Training from the ground up in 2009 . Her love affair with horses began when she was five. Growing up in a 'horsey' family and exposed to invaluable trainers as a child and junior rider shaped her into the equestrian and horsewoman she is today.

Sabrina competed successfully on the Hunter/Jumper 'A' circuit for 15 years focusing on Equitation and Medals. After taking a break from horses for college and managing her own clothing business she returned to what fuels her, what is in her blood, and the one place that she knows is 'her', the barn and the showring!

The Principals:

Today she works with riders of all ages and at all levels helping horse and rider communicate successfully as a team in and out of the show ring. 

Drawing from years of experience with trainers up and down the West Coast, Sabrina knows that each horse is a unique animal and needs to be treated and trained as such. Customizing training programs is crucial to the success of both horse and rider, we are NOT an assembly line training/showing facility!
