Our mission is to make a broad range of classical and topical chamber music performances of highest quality available and affordable to the people of Saugerties, the surrounding communities and the Hudson Valley.

History:

Our organization grew spontaneously, in the 1980’s and 90’s, from the involvement of Dr. Herman Ash, beloved physician, in the recreational performance and promotion of chamber music in Saugerties. The devotion of Dr. Ash and his many musical friends helped to spread enthusiasm for “music in small places” throughout the town of Saugerties, Ulster County, the Hudson Valley and beyond.
