San Gorgonio Ballet Company is founded on the belief that the Arts and in particular the art of ballet and dance is an important element of the cultural community. We are dedicated to the preservation and presentation of the art of ballet and dance.

We are further dedicated to the belief that all should have access to the art of ballet and dance. To providing opportunity to train and perform in a professional atmosphere or to attend professional ballet performances. To providing nondiscriminatory scholarships, seminars, classes, exhibitions, performances, festivals and competitions for the dancer and dance patron regardless of financial need.

It is our mission and goal to do everything suitable, necessary, and deemed proper under the terms of our bi-laws and in compliance with all prevailing laws to accomplish the objectives herein described.

About Us:

San Gorgonio Ballet is a professional ballet company. Founded in 2003 by Julia Olsen-Rodriguez with the intent and purpose of providing high quality new works along with well known classical favorites.

The company presented it's Premiere Performance at the Annenberg Theater in Palm Springs, CAwhich included the original ballets "Simple Symphony", "Valse Espana", "Classical Pastisch", "Le Printemps" and "Shoshangane"Choreographed by John MagnusOvertime the repertoire has grown to include many original works by Founding Artistic Director Julia Olsen-Rodriguez. Most noted are "Hans Christian Andersen", "Amour's Garden", "Infinity", A Tribute to Minkus", and her signature ballet "Remember Charlie, A Tribute to Charles Chaplin". Ms Olsen-Rodriguez has also staged such classics as "The Nutcrcker", and excerpts from "Le Patineurs", Le Corsair, Sleeping Beauty, Flower Festival at Genzano, Don Quijote, and Giselle to name a few.

San Gorgonio Ballet is proud to have presented and continues to present some of the finest professional dancers from the United States and Abroad.

The company has created many original works bringing in noted composers, choreographers, actors, and vocalists.
