Rhode Island Free Clinic

655 Broad Street
401-274-6347

Founded in 1999, the Clinic’s mission is to provide free comprehensive health care to uninsured, working poor and low-income adults, and to serve as an educational training site for aspiring health care professionals.

The Clinic mobilizes a statewide network of over 800 medical volunteers and community partners to provide free comprehensive health care including primary care, specialty medical services, labs and diagnostics, and medications, wellness programs, and health education. The Clinic’s over 2,000 patients are uninsured, working poor and low-income Rhode Island adults; all earn less than 150% of the Federal Poverty Level. Every month we accept new patients into the Clinic’s medical home.
