The Red Cat Jazz Festival is an exhibition of the rich heritage of jazz music, celebrating its past, pioneering its present, and nurturing its future. The festival, previously a one-day event, has evolved into a holiday weekend festival, filled with four days of non-stop live jazz music, brought to Texas jazz lovers by local, national and international musicians. The event also features an event designed to honor jazz legends and an event designed to provide scholarships for up and coming student jazz musicians.
