Mission

The Parks and Recreation Department provides year-round programs including youth and adult sports leagues, seasonal day camps, special events, and instructional classes. The parks element provides safe and adequate facilities in which to hold these programs, as well as opportunities to enjoy recreational activities in public parks and open spaces.
