About us:

Prairie Dance Alliace is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of education in the art of dance.

Goals of the Alliance:

To produce 'The Nutcracker' or 'Babes in Toyland' as a joint community biennial event. This project involves professional principals dancers, regional choreography, dancers from regional studios, and the technical theater expertise of people living in the region.

To continue to organize and manage an annual Summer Dance Camp Workshop, which provides students from the region exposure to professional dance instructors and a variety of dance art forms.

To serve as a fiscal agent for individual dancers or groups who wish to engage in fundraising for their dance activities.

To sponsor dance performances by touring artists or troupes for the general public.

To sponsor artists-in-residency programs for area schools, thus creating the opportunity to expose dance to all children.
