Prairie Crossing Learning Farm
Prairie Farm Corps CSA: Support area youth job training program through this 9 week CSA. Each week from June 24th to August 19th you will receive a 5/9 bushel box of high quality certified organic produce grown by local high school students from Lake County, IL here at Prairie Crossing Learning Farm. You will also receive a dozen fresh certified organic eggs and a colorful newsletter profiling each of the students on their progress.

The Learning Farm is a unique, organic farm in Lake County, offering educational opportunities to people of all ages. It uses three acres of land, several greenhouses, a children's garden, and a henhouse as outdoor classrooms. Learning Farm education programs rely on a staff that has expertise in both agriculture and teaching.

The Learning Farm, is an educational, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, a program of the Liberty Prairie Foundation whose mission is to promote the integration of healthy ecosystems and the vibrant human communities they support. Located within Prairie Crossing, a conservation community in Grayslake, Illinois, widely recognized for its preservation of open land and sustainable agriculture.
