The Polish Festival is sponsored and presented by the Polish Community Association of Maryland, a non-profit organization. The Association was founded to preserve Polish customs and history by presenting the Polish Festival and the opportunity to interact with the pageantry, folklore, and of course, the food and drink.

The Association also donates a Christmas Tree, decorated with authentic Polish crystal ornaments, to the Kennedy Kreiger Institute's Festival of Trees held during the Thanksgiving weekend and sponsors the traditional Polish Christmas Caroling through the streets of Fells Point, Maryland on December 23 each year.
