About us:

The Peak City Book Festival originated in 2013, as a joint effort between two Apex organizations:  the Halle Cultural Arts Center and Peak City Publishing.  The goal of the first festival was to build, engage and grow a community of readers and writers to inspire and celebrate the written word.  Last year's theme, 'Bringing Paper Back to Books' proved to be successful, as several hundred community members attended workshops, participated in story time events and shopped for books.
