Orchestra Canton is one of two professional symphonic ensembles within the Plymouth Canton Symphony Society. Annually, the OC hosts a four concert subscription series, an annual children's holiday concert, and annual "Fusion Festival", celebrating the astounding diversity of the Canton community, all of which take place at the beautiful Village Theater at Cherry Hill in Canton.

"Movie Music Magic" -- Sept 8, 2007 8PM
Bringing the big screen to the Village Theatre stage, this collaborative effort will highlight Hollywood soundtracks in performances by Orchestra Canton, the Spotlight Players, the Canton Community Band and the Canton Community and Children’s Choruses.
"Beethoven and Bluejeans" -- Oct 20, 2007 8PM
The opening night concert of Orchestra Canton’s fourth season continues our tradition of casual classics, presenting an evening of “classics” old and new. Works include selections from Beethoven, Mozart, and the Michigan premiere of CROSSING THE RUBICON, by Frank LaRocca.

Our Holiday Concert is sure to please all ages with an array of seasonal favorites and classics alike. A special “side by side” performance will showcase our own youth orchestra, Celebration Sinfonia,

Favorite tunes from the beloved 18th century master, George Fredrick Handel will be in abundance, but that’s not all! Guest composer Mary Watkins, harpist Maurice Draughn, and soprano Nadine Balbeisi will each add a special spark to the evening.
"Fusion Festival: Inspirations from India" March 29-30, 2008
The Fusion Festival is an exciting adventure of cross-cultural musical collaboration. Showcasing the solo artistry of sitar performer Hasu Patel, the concert itself hopes to feature music by Vanraj Bhatia, Victor Paranjoti and Henry Cowell.

Go around the world and back with exceptional pieces highlighting classical composers from Russia, Itay, Mexico and the United States.
