About Us:
For over thirty years the ACFL nonprofit corporation was a regional art center located at the Fuller Lodge in Los Alamos, New Mexico. In April of 2010 the Board of Directors made the decision to move the art center to a location that would allow the corporation to better serve the six counties of Northern New Mexico. Accordingly, ACFL has changed its name to the Northern New Mexico Regional Art Center (NNMRAC) and it is now partnering with the City of Española to provide arts management support to the Department of Community Services on the Plaza de Española. The NNMRAC is located in the Mision y Convento on the plaza, where NNMRAC developed similar programs to the ones offered at its former location, including, year-round art classes and workshops for adults, after school and summer classes for children and youth, senior citizens, and for the developmentally disabled. The NNMRAC also provides and sponsors professional art exhibition in the Convento Gallery and operates a consignment gift shop there. Summer and fall arts and crafts fairs will continue on the Plaza. Your ACFL membership transfers without any fees to the NNMRAC with all of the associated benefits. Your membership and generous tax deductible donations will enable the NNMRAC to continue to provide the outstanding programming that we have in the past--Mil Gracias for your support!
