The North Shore Players is a non-profit community theatre group that is dedicated to the performing arts and is now celebrating its 58th full year! We have had over 35 years involvement with the Hogan Regional Center in Danvers, MA, including free performances and entertainment for the residents there. Over the years we have participated in the Danvers Family Festival, and performed at Heritage House, Hawks Manor, the Elks Club and several local restaurants. We aid other theatre groups with costumes, equipment and cast members. For the past 30 years the North Shore Players Scholarship Fund has annually provided one high school senior a grant to continue education in the performing arts.

The North Shore Players is a unique community theater with a deep heritage of high quality, family oriented productions. Our roster of performers spans generations reflecting a breadth of talent and experience. It is our philosophy and approach to community theater that makes us stand apart from similar organizations and is reflected in what we believe:

-We believe theater should be fun for all participants.

-We believe less experienced and novice performers should have the chance to enjoy the excitement and growth of being in a live production.

-We believe people of differing talent and capability can join together to create memorable productions that thrill and enthrall audiences.

-We believe the process of creating a live theater production is just as important as the actual production.

-We believe an entertaining theater experience arises from the enthusiasm and energy of those involved in the production and not in the size of a budget or the past credits of those performing.
