The New Jersey State Museum engages visitors of all ages and diverse backgrounds in an exploration of New Jersey’s cultural and natural history presented within a global context. The Museum, which houses more than 2.5 million specimens and objects, is home to collections in archaeology & ethnography, fine art and natural history. Visitors can also experience outer space in the 140 seat, state-of-the-art Planetarium.
