Sports Camp registration has begun as of April 21. Kids can get the edge by registering for football, soccer, basketball, and baseball/softball camps.

Softball Leagues

Mt. Pleasant Softball begins April 21. Returning teams as well as newcomers will face each other in a variety of leagues including an A-Division, B-Division, C-Division, and a Mixed League.
The A and B Divisions will stand separately, however, each will play four nondivisional games against one another adding to the excitement.
The increasingly popular C-Division has split for the second year in a row. During the season each team from the National League will face a nondivisional opponent from the American League. Following the Championships, the C-Division will have a Game of Champions between the National and the American League Champ.
The Mixed Division adds five new contenders to the league. This growth is an added bonus for competition and overall enjoyment.

Youth Sports Organizations

Local sports organizations including Sherman Park, Kensico, and AYSO have finalized their registration dates. To enquire about little league baseball, soccer, and softball, contact the recreation office for details.

Sports and Fitness

The Recreation and Parks Department offers a variety of sports and fitness programs for the local community. Basketball leagues, tennis lessons, golf instruction, karate, kick boxing, and much more are available for your enjoyment. All our fitness and sports programs are supervised by certified and experienced staff and are tailored to meet specific age groups including children, young adults, and super seniors.

Be One of Our Comets & Shinings Stars

Cheerleading in Mount Pleasant continues to grow and provide young girls and boys with the opportunity to improve both physically and mentally. Our Comet program teaches the basic skills of tumbling, jumps, and dynamic dance.

Comet also prepares you for Shining Stars. Participants will learn actual routines and travel to cheerleading tournaments for competition. Lots of fun and excitement! Contact the office for further details.
