About:

The Morris Marksmen is a 4-H shooting club located in Morris County New Jersey.  Our club has monthly business meetings and monthly shoots of archery and air rifle both indoors and outdoors.  The focus of our club is safety, discipline and respect.  We work hard to improve our shooting skills while having fun and supporting each other.

The Morris Marksmen club was started in the fall of 2012.  We have been adding members and 4-H certified instructors annually.  2014 was the first year the club participated in both junior level and senior level NJ State competition. 

Archery is one discipline learned and practiced by the club.  Members lean about safety, range commands and rules, equipment and instinctive shooting. Instructors and members teach archery programs at the annual county 4-H fair.  

Air Rifle is another discipline learned and practiced by the club.  Members learn about firearm safety, range and firing commands, and equipment.  Members learn to use the air rifle in standing, kneeling and prone positions. 

Members work hard to raise funds to support the club with equipment needed in all discipline
