About Us:
Mansfield Historical Society and Museum has accomplished a great deal toward a statement of the history of Mansfield. The Historical Society works closely with Mansfield's other wonderful museum The Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum. The statement made at the Museum on the Square speaks of pioneer history and early history of the Mansfield Area.
Volunteers work at the Museum nearly every day. Often you can visit the museum and find a volunteer there who is pictured in one or more of the photos on display.
The Museum and Historical Society depends upon donations and memberships to fund their research and collection maintenance. There is no specific fee charged for examining the collection.
