The Las Cruces Museum of Nature and Science opened on November 2, 2012. Formerly known as the Las Cruces Museum of Natural History, the museum has a brand new facility next to the Museum of Art.
The mission of the Las Cruces Museum of Nature and Science: To inspire curiosity about the sciences, facilitate life-long learning, and promote stewardship of the natural environment of the Chihuahuan Desert and southern New Mexico.
