Harrisburg River Rescue is a self-sufficient non-profit, 100% volunteer organization which provides community-based, high quality, cost effective water rescue and emergency services for the residents of the south-central Pennsylvania region that started over 49 years ago.

Our Mission: To promote safety on the water through education.

Our Motto: We would rather save than search.

While there are many water rescue teams in existence, River Rescue, is considered one of the best equipped and best trained all-volunteer units in and around the state of Pennsylvania.
