About Us:

Harlequin Stables is a privately owned and operated facility located on Route 109 in Westwood. We take pride in maintaining a friendly and relaxed yet professional atmosphere offering lessons and boarding. Our goal is provide safe and educational riding instruction for people of all ages and individualized care for the horses that reside here.

Our facility includes: 17 box stalls ranging in sizes to accommodate small ponies to large horses, within 5 separate barns, a 60'x120' indoor arena with dust free rubber footing, a 70'x180' outdoor lit sand arena, round pen, cross country schooling filed, and 14 paddocks for individual and group turn out.

We welcome both beginner and experienced riders to our lesson program and have various school horses and ponies to meet the needs of different riders. Our teaching style includes the fundamentals of balanced seat riding, touching upon aspects of dressage and hunt seat equitation. We participate in local competitions to introduce our students to the excitement of showing.

Every summer Harlequin Stables also offers Summer Riding Sessions. The sessions run every week from late June to the beginning of September and give riders the chance to experience the daily responsibilities of horse care, daily riding lessons in a group setting, and horsemanship learning activities.Harlequin Stables currently has two instructors who are both licensed through the state of Massachusetts offering lessons seven days per week.
