HallSpace presents work by emerging artists, and established but under-recognized artists. The gallery offers exhibition opportunities to curators and artists with ideas for projects or installations. 

HallSpace opened on Thayer Street in the SOWA District in Boston's South End in 1996, moving to Roxbury in 1999. The gallery moved again in 2008 to Dorchester, Boston's largest neighborhood.

The gallery is open on Friday and Saturday, 12 to 5 pm, and by appointment Monday through Thursday.
