Groton READS is a community-wide program that asks everyone in town to read the same book and engage in discussions and events. Kick off for the program is Sunday January 10 from 1-4 in the library's Community Room. Come pick up a copy of the book and enjoy refreshments while hearing a dramatic reading of selections from the book. Events and activities for all ages are scheduled throughout the month of March which will inform readers about a time in Massachusetts history that is frequently overlooked. Groton has a significant history during the era of the French and Indian Wars, which we will discover through programs in coordination with the Groton Historical Society, the Williams Barn Committee, Fruitlands Museum, the Old Burial Ground, and more.
