Green Mountain Council is chartered by Boy Scouts of America to deliver the Boy Scout program to Vermont's youth. The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare youth to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling the values of the Scout oath and Scout Law. The purpose of the Green Mountain Council is Preparing Vermont's youth for Life through the adventures of Scouting.
