The Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce has been an active voice for the business community in Providence since 1868. Today we have more than 3,000 member businesses representing all 39 cities and towns in Rhode Island, and a 45-member board of directors representing virtually every industry involved in our state.

The largest chamber in Rhode Island, we are dedicated to helping member-businesses of all sizes grow and prosper.

The mission of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce is to develop a positive and productive business climate for our community through economic development, political action and civic endeavor. The Chamber is dedicated to helping member businesses of all sizes grow and prosper in Rhode Island and to attracting investment from outside Rhode Island. The Chamber will promote programs of a civic, social and cultural nature and through its growing membership, provide the leadership, ideas, energy and finances to help address major community challenges.
