In addition, the Chamber’s tourism program promotes the community by highlighting Muskogee’s attractions, venues, food, culture, and other events and activities that bring thousands of visitors to Muskogee every year.

The governing and policy making responsibilities of the Chamber are vested in its Board of Directors. Elected by Chamber members, the board is made up of directors and officers, associate directors, and the immediate past chairman. The President of the Greater Muskogee Area Chamber of Commerce and the Manager and Mayor of the City of Muskogee serve on the Board and are non-voting ex-officio members.
