About Us
Girl Scouts are everywhere and come from every walk of life. Girl Scouts of Pioneer Valley is one of the 314 Girl Scout Councils which make up the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. From the rural community of Monson to the City of Springfield, thirteen diverse communities make up the jurisdiction of Girl Scouts of Pioneer Valley - Agawam, Belchertown, Chicopee, East Longmeadow, Hampden, Longmeadow, Ludlow, Monson, Palmer, Springfield, Ware, West Springfield and Wilbraham.
Fundamentally, Girl Scouts is about girls, their development, their experiences and their success as future citizens in our world. What they learn today in Girl Scouts, they will use tomorrow. They are the only reason we exist, so the programs they participate in, are all geared toward developing values, life skills, and character. Girl Scouts of Pioneer Valley has been doing that in many, many, ways, since 1914.
As members of the Girl Scouts of Pioneer Valley community (4600 families strong), you are encouraged to participate in many of the programs, events and trips offered this year. Join in! We are sure you will have a great time sharing these memorable experiences with your Girl Scout.
