Ginger Ridge Farms is now open to CSA and welcomes you to join. We are located on the Volcano Highway in Mountain View. Pickups are every Sunday from 12-3. Hilo, Keaau, Pahoa and Kapoho pickups are being planned as membership grows. We recommend a 6-month commitment. Minimum membership is 1 month with 1 pick up per week. Trial membership cost is $100 for one month. Payments due at the first pick-up day of the membership period by cash, check or credit card.

"Aloha 'Aina" simply means to love and respect the land, make it yours and claim stewardship for it. Our island, our earth, our mother is all the same thing. She needs our love and respect.

"Malama 'Aina" means to care for and nurture the land, so it can give back all that we need to sustain life for ourselves and our children for future generations.

Ginger Ridge Farms was the largest organic ginger and banana producer in the USA for many years.We are now focusing primarily on vegetables and bananas.We pioneered the organic ginger market across the USA and opened many doors in some 'non organic' establishments as well. We supplied all the KTA's and Sure Save supermarkets on the Big Island plus many of the health food stores for many years.

In a humble attempt to be useful, productive, and helpful during my lifetime, I have spent a good portion of my time and energy involved in the endeavors displayed here. There are three main topics; Tai Chi, Music, and Agriculture. In Tai Chi and Kick Boxing, my services are available to teach workshops, classes, and offer personal training. In Organic Agriculture, my services are available to consult in every phase from pre-plant to harvest and product development to marketing. In Music, my services are available to create original improvisation or composition for dance, theater, film, or video. These can be live performances or recordings.

I hope that this site is informative and perhaps a little entertaining. Most certainly if you feel an alignment to do something with me, lets talk about what that would be and how to go about doing it. Lets learn, grow, and enjoy life.
