About Us
The Arts are vital to the quality of life you enjoy in Frederick County. Whether you're engaged in the arts as an audience member, patron, educator, or artist, the Frederick Arts Council (FAC) is your arts ally. Our purpose is to foster an environment where the arts may flourish in our community through grants and scholarships, arts advocacy, and links to essential resources.
The Frederick Arts Council serves as the umbrella arts organization for Frederick County, Maryland. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that builds a better community through the arts through programs, services, activities, and events.
The Frederick Arts Council does not discriminate against any person on the basis of any characteristic described in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act or on the basis of political opinion or affiliation in any of its policies, procedures or practices and prides itself on maintaining a facility that is accessible to all.
