The Florissant Performing Arts center opened in October 1972 under the name Florissant Civic Center Theatre. Home to two outstanding community theater companies, The Alpha Players and The Hawthorne Players, as well as several dance companies, community bands and non-profit organizations, the FloPAC seats 543 in a proscenium style theater.
