Delta Trap Club, located just north of the Delta City limits in Delta County, Colorado, on land donated by Charles Fairlamb, was incorporated June 18, 1968. In its fifty-plus years existence the club has hosted the Colorado State Championship Shoot fourteen times, bringing top trap shooters from all parts of Colorado and neighboring states to Delta County. The club hosts numerous ATA shoots throughout the year and a highly popular annual Labor Day shoot.
