History/Mission
The Delray Beach Chorale has been performing choral music in the South Palm Beach County area since 1982. At that time, a number of Delray Beach residents, determined to organize a South Palm Beach County community chorus in order to perform choral masterpieces at the highest artistic level, established the Delray Beach Chorale. The Delray Beach Chorale, now in its 31st season, attracts qualified and dedicated volunteer singers with solid musical backgrounds and draws its soloists from the wealth of talented professional singers in South Florida, and has, from its earliest years of operation, performed with an orchestral ensemble consisting mostly of principal players from the former Florida Philharmonic. The Chorale has approximately 60 members and performs two major programs a year - winter and spring.
The Delray Beach Chorale strives to promote and encourage the art of singing and sharing the experience of great music with the community.

We perform throughout South Florida at multiple venues to serve a diverse audience.
We strive to be the premier performance option for talented amateur, professional and student musicians from high school age through senior adults. This includes singers of various ethnic and socio-economic groups.
We are committed to musical education of the next generation of singers through our Academy program. We stand for excellence in musical performance.
