Damistia Horse Haven is owned and operated by Wendy Henderson with the assistance of her daughter, Misty Spivey. Together, they have over 30 years of equine experience including:

-Certificate in Equine Management from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College

-Rehabilitating rescue horses

-Personally owns seven horses

-Participated and placed in eventing

-Member of riding team at local riding school

-Chosen for riding team at Virginia Intermont College

-Over 15 years of English riding lessons

-Previously worked at local riding school

-Equine Rescue Volunteer

-Took equine cruelty investigator course
