Concord Center for the Visual Arts, or in short, Concord Art, was founded nearly a century ago by Elizabeth Wentworth Roberts, a well known American Impressionist painter and philanthropist whose original mission for the organization—to promote and advance the visual arts and artists and to sustain our cultural community—stands today. With more than 800 members, Concord Art provides a much-needed context for engaging the community in contemporary art, and remains a focal point for exhibitions, continuing art education and community programs.
